Betty S. Marterstich

Betty S. Marterstich, age 70, of Adrian, MI, passed away, August 11, 2020.  She was born October 11, 1949, in Knoxville, TN, the daughter of Elvin Clifton & Delcia (Byrd) Perkins. On October 11, 1998, she married Bill Marterstich in Las Vegas, NV, he survives.  Betty worked as a heat treat inspector at GM Willow Run Hydra-Matic. She loved to read books, do crossword puzzles, plant flowers and go antiquing.  In addition to her husband Bill, she is survived by two sons, Andy White and Michael White; step-daughter, Doreen Simms; step-son, Bill Jr. (Kim) Marterstich; her grandchildren, Krystle, Andy, Ryan, Laura, Brooke, Brittney and Allie; great grandchildren, Aynna, Wyatt and Griffen; her siblings, Chuck (Mary) Perkins, Russell Perkins, Linda Deacons and James (Donna) Perkins, several nieces & nephews and her three kittys, Peyton, Slimbo and Bandit.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Elvin Clifton & Delcia (Byrd) Perkins, sister in law, Sally Perkins, brother in law, Buddy Deacons and nephew, Jason Dale Perkins.  Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, August 13, 2020, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Visitation will also be on Thurdsay from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI.
