Bernard "Bernie" Rickard

Bernard "Bernie" Rickard, age 72, of Adrian, MI, passed away, March 8, 2019, unexpectedly at home. He was born October 13, 1946, in Tecumseh, MI, the son of Hayes & Leoma (Payne) Rickard. On September 28, 1990, he married Bonita "Bonnie" Rickard.  Bernie retired from Wacker Chemicals after 48 years of service. He loved to play golf, ride his Trike, go camping and travel. Bernie loved his family and spending time with them especially his grandchildren.  He is survived by his wife Bonnie Rickard, his children, Jeff (Faith) Rickard, Kim (Ray) Ashley, Malina (Mike) Vance and Janelle Barnett, fifteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren & great great grandchildren, one sister, Kay Randolph and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Gary Rickard, niece, Susan Rickard and great grandson Ryder Thomas.  Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and also on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, from 12:00 PM until the time of service at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday March 13, 2019 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI with Pastor Bruce Jewett officiating.
