Bernadine (Goldsmith) Russell

Bernadine (Goldsmith) Russell, Age 95, of Fenton, Michigan, Formerly of Mt. Morris, Michigan passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Vicinia Gardens Memory Care in Fenton, Michigan.  She was born  August 12, 1930 in Flint, Michigan to the late Clarence and Dorella (Trudeau) Goldsmith.  Bernadine met her late husband of 77 years, Eldon R Russell, while bowling and they were married September 29, 1948.  Bernadine's husband preceded her in death on November 13, 2016.  Together they have three children: daughter, Mary A. Davenport of Bradenton, Florida; Marjorie A. Boss of Fenton, Michigan;  and Richard L. Russell of Clio, Michigan; three surviving grandchildren: Aaron Davenport; Deanna (Davenport) Sicard; Alfred Boss IV; seven surviving great grandchildren: Rachel Boss; Alfred Boss V; Adan Sucardl Allison Sicard; Connor Davenport; and Seanna Davenport; and sister Mona (Goldsmith) Shonts.  In addition to her parents and husband, Bernadine was preceded in death by her sister Joanne; her granddaughter Julie (Boss) Baker; and her great- grandson Justin Albaugh.  Bernadine enjoyed cooking, sewing and making custom draperies, fishing, playing cards with family and friends, and spending time with family and friends at her cabin in Lewiston, Michigan.  According to Bernadine's wishes, cremation has taken place with Purse Funeral Home.  www.PurseFuneralHome.com
