Barbara Joyce Rawlings

Barbara Joyce Rawlings, age 69, of Lyons, OH, passed away, June 16, 2021, at home with her family. She was born February 20, 1952, in Hudson, MI, the daughter of Raymond & Viola (Double) Shipman. On February 23, 2013, she married William Rawlings, he survives.  Barbara was retired from Provincial House in Adrian, MI. She enjoyed camping with her family at Sunny's Campground. She loved decorating cakes, gardening and was an avid U of M fan.  Barbara is survived by her husband, William Rawlings; her children, Shelley (Josh) Holly, Sabrina (Nate) Schubert and Christopher Miller; her grandchildren, Branden (Aubrey) Sears, Brittney (Loren) DelMonico, Rebecca Sears, Alex Sears, Courtney (Noah) Witucki, great grandson, Kaisen Sears; step grandchildren, Ashton Schubert, Jayden Holly, Fletcher Schubert and Brogan Holly; her siblings, Doris Wohlgamuth, Charlotte (Lenny) Worrick, Gary (Sheri) Shipman and Roger (Annette) Shipman and her furry companion, Toby.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond & Viola Shipman, three brothers Jerry Shipman, Larry Shipman and Paul Shipman; and two sisters, Phyllis Watters and Marie Strong.  Viewing & Visitation will be on Monday, June 21, 2021, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Blissfield Bible Holiness Church, 407 N Lane St, Blissfield, MI 49228, with her nephew, Pastor Timothy Watters officiating.
