Barbara Craft Kirkendall

Barbara Craft Kirkendall, age 70, of Adrian, MI, passed away February 20, 2020, at Hospice of Lenawee surrounded by her family. She was born January 2, 1950, in Haleyville, AL, the daughter of Ralph & Florene Craft.  On May 20, 1967, she married Dennis Kirkendall, Sr., he survives.  Barb was retired from Meijers and a longtime member of Alcoholics Anonymous. She was very active in AA, by sponsoring and counseling many members.  In addition to her husband, Dennis Kirkendall, Sr., she is survived by her children, Ann (Greg) Adams of Clinton, Dennis Kirkendall, Jr. of Adrian, Robert (Dione) Kirkendall of Hudson, Scott (Amanda) Kirkendall of Clinton, her grandchildren, Jackie (Deja) McKenzie of Tecumseh, Bradley (Amanda) Kirkendall of Somerset, Danielle (Nick) Hartung of Clinton, Nate Adams & Makalynn Adams of Clinton, Katelyn & Gabriel Kirkendall of Adrian, Devin & Denver Kirkendall of Clinton, great granchildren, Chase Lewis, Hannah Kirkendall, Tucker Lewis and Holton Kirkendall, three sisters, Connie Craft, Pam (Bill) Campbell and Brenda (Arthur) Smith, two brothers in law, Dan (Barb) Kirkendall and Frank Kirkendall and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph & Florene (Cagle) Craft, grandson, Taylor Kirkendall, sister, Linda Dye, sister in law, Nancy Kirkendall and brother in law, Rolan Kirkendall.  Viewing & Visitation will be on Sunday February 23, 2020, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, February 24, 2020 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI with Minister Doug Ketchum.
