BARBARA ANN DIERINGER   November 1, 1938 - April 29, 2025
It is with both sorrow and deep gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Barbara Dieringer, who departed this life on April 29, 2025, at the age of 86. Dear mother of Paul, Lori (John) Dolce, Linda (Robert) Drzyzga, Deborah (David) Long, Suzanne (Abe) Mashhour, Michael (Haley) and Kristina (Brad) Ritter. Also survived by her brother, Robert “Pep” (Sue) Pfefferle, brother-in-law, Lawrence Weaver, nephews - Marc (Samie) Weaver, Kurt (Nicki) Pfefferle, Kevin (Jamie) Pfefferle and Ryan (Heather) Pfefferle. She leaves behind the loves of her life, her grandchildren - Megan and Hailey Dieringer - Olivia, Julia (Mitchell), Annalia, and Sofia Dolce - Victoria (Matthew) Hussey, Jeffrey, Jacob, Christian, and Thomas Drzyzga - Shane (Sheena) and Paige Long - Jamil, Aaliyah, Nassim, Muhammad, Adam and Melina Mashhour - Izzy, Reagan, and Jackson Dieringer and Nick (Abby) Sheets - Aubrie, Lily and Gabriella Ritter and her great-grandchildren - Colson and Jace Long and Theodore Hussey. She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 62 years, Peter, her son Peter II, her parents, Robert and Louise Pfefferle, her sister, Emelie Weaver and nephew Brad Weaver.  Barbara brought laughter, warmth, and joy wherever she went. Her energy was infectious—whether she was dancing to Barry Manilow or Mariah Carey, having sleepovers with her grandkids, or simply lighting up a room with her presence.  Barbara dedicated many years of her life to caring for others, running a loving daycare where countless children found not only care, but comfort, learning, and laughter. Her nurturing spirit extended far beyond her profession—it was at the core of who she was.  Her door was always open, her arms always welcoming, and her heart immeasurable. Though we will miss her love, her humor, and her unwavering support, we find comfort in knowing that her spirit lives on in the many lives she touched. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025. Visitation and mass will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (21599 Parke Lane, Grosse Ile, MI 48138). Visitation will begin at 9:00 am with mass following at 10:00 AM.
