Audrey Lee Poore

Audrey Lee Poore, age 76, of Adrian, MI, passed away, September 3, 2021.  She was born April 17, 1945, the daughter of James & Florence (Bowers) Carpenter. Audrey is survived by her children - Michele LaTour, Debra (Mike) Talbert, Robert Worton and Pamela Worton, seven grandchildren - Angela, Joshua (Carlee), Nicholas, Autumn, Braeden, Logan and Gavin, three great-grandchildren - Warren, Hunter and Audriean.  Audrey loved baking, crafting, needlepoint and crocheting.  She made many afghans, stockings, ornaments and many more future family heirlooms.  She was a volunteer in elementary school activities with her children and a PTA President.  She had many jobs over her lifetime, from pharmacy technician to medical receptionist, where she met her late husband, William J. Poore (passed 2017).  Bill and Audrey Poore were members of Tecumseh Free Will Baptist Church.  Previous marriages: widowed to Robert Worton and divorced from Lee Souder.  Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, September 10, 2021, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Pastor Gene Hurley officiating. Burial will follow in Palmyra Cemetery.
