Arthur D. "JR" McGraw, Jr.

Arthur D. "JR" McGraw Jr.. age 60, of Adrian, MI, passed away, March 29, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 10, 1964, in Chicago, IL the son of Arthur Sr. & Dottie (Williams) McGraw. On October 4, 1986, he married Rosie Ramirez, she survives.  JR was a graduate of Adrian High School, Class of 1982. He then served his country in the the U.S. Army. JR worked at NSK in Ann Arbor for thirteen years. He was currently employed with ISPS in Toledo, OH. JR loved to play his guitar for his family. He was a die-hard fan of the WWE and NASCAR. JR was not only a devoted husband and a terrific father, but was the world's greatest "poppy" to his cherished grandchildren.  In addition to his wife, Rosie McGraw, he is survived by his father, Arthur McGraw, Sr.; his three children, Virginia Ramirez, Jonathan (Brianna) McGraw and Aaron (Natasha) McGraw; nine grandchildren, Giovanni, O'Shea, Wesley, Nevaeh, Jayda, Journey, Avyanna, Adalyne and Abrem; and dearest brother to Richard McGraw and Angel McGraw. He is also survived by many beloved family members; along with his furry companion, Sam. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dottie McGraw; and father in law and mother in law, Nieves & Bertha Ramirez.  Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 PM Saturday April 5, 2025, at Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Pastor Anthony Barton officiating. Military Honors will be performed by the Adrian American Legion Post 97 Honor Guard.
