Arnett Ray Williams, Jr.

Arnett Ray Williams Jr., Age 78, of Wauseon, OH, passed away on June 1, 2025 at his home.  He was born on December 6, 1946 in Beckley, West Virginia to Arnett and Ella Williams.  Arnett Williams Jr. was a Dye Setter until he retired in 2009.  On August 22, 1970, Arnett Ray Williams Jr. married the love of his life JoAnn Martin in Morenci, MI. Here they raised their children together, Donald, Kelly, Bobby & Billy.  Arnett was the best dad that anyone could have.  He enjoyed taking his children hunting and fishing.  He sure loved racing when it came to NASCAR and watching his favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt Sr., as well as going to Oakshade to watch his son Billy race and work on his race car with him.  On Sundays you could also find him watching the Denver Broncos.  He was over the moon when they won back to back Super Bowls in 1998 & 1999.  During his retirement, Arnett was always hunting, fishing, working in his garden, mushroom & ginseng hunting, card nights with family and of course driving his wife JoAnn crazy.  Arnett is survived by his wife JoAnn Williams, children Donald (Belinda) Williams of Morenci, MI, Kelly (Duane) Fletcher of Wauseon, OH, Bobby (Angie) Williams of Adrian, MI and Billy (Dawn) Williams of Hudson, MI.  Siblings, Greta Peterson, Sandra Borton, Doug Williams and Kenneth Williams. Grandchildren, Alexx Allen, Larissa (Eliott) Richardson, Whitney (Anthony) Snead, Trevor Fletcher, Chelsey (Austin) Thomas, Lindsey (Nicholas) Arredondo, Courtney Fletcher, Mason (Olivia) Williams and Kendyle Williams. He is also survived by 18 Great Grandchildren  He is preceded in death by his parents, Arnett & Ella Williams. Siblings, Almeda Overmyer, Alden Williams, Gary Williams, Judith Cornell, Dennis Williams and Lowell Williams. Grandson, Collin Fletcher and Great Granddaughter, Arya Grace Allen.  Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, June 6, 2025, at Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI.  Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Morenci, MI.  Visitation will also be on Friday from 12:00 PM until the time of service at the Purse Funeral Home in Adrian, MI.  www.PurseFuneralHome.com
