Armando Flores

Armando Flores age 79, of Tecumseh, passed away peacefully May 14, 2022 at home with his family by his side. Armando was born May 26, 1942 in Crystal City, Texas , the son of Arnulfo & Petra (Diaz) Flores. On Jan 8, 1966 he married the love of his life Rosaly Moreno in Tecumseh, MI at St. Elizabeth Church and she survives.  Armando attended Blissfield High School. After High School he went into the United States Air Force. After the service he worked at a few place before finding his passion at Johnson Controls as a Tool & Dye Maker. In his free time he loved golfing, bowling, riding his Harley but most of all spending time with his family and friends. His true love was his family making memories with the grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Armando is survived by his wife, Rosaly; daughters, Theresa (Tom) Zak, Rebeca Packard, Susana Sump and Anna (Jason) Clark; sons, Santos (Laura) Flores, Che Flores; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; siblings, Raul (Brenda) Flores, Estella Snare, Ricardo (Linda) Flores, Mary (Julio) Cortez, Rudy Flores and Ellen Peeks. He was preceded in death by his parents Arnulfo & Petra (Diaz) Flores; brothers; Santos Flores, Arnulfo Flores Jr, twin brothers in infancy; grandson, Zackery Sump. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2022 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Pastor Paul Clark officiating.  Interment will follow at Lenawee Hills Memorial Cemetery at M-50/M-52. Visitation will be also be on Friday, May 20, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
