Annette "Annie" Virginia (Ruttkofsky) Bolyard

Annette “Annie” Virginia Bolyard, age 83, of Onsted, passed away at Hospice of Lenawee in Adrian on Thursday, February 10, 2022. Annette was born on October 21, 1938 in Cambridge Michigan to John and Clara (Fischer) Ruttkofsky. Annie graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1956. She married Harvey Bolyard on May 4, 1960. Together, they had three children: Harvey, Christine, and Danny. Annie retired from Fisher Body and was a member of the UAW retirees. She was a member of the Ladies Altar Guild Society of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved going up north to spend time visiting the Straits of Mackinac. She enjoyed going to the casinos with Harvey. It was one of their favorite hobbies they enjoyed doing together. And she especially enjoyed spending time with the grandchildren. Annie is survived by three children: Harvey (Patty) Bolyard, Christine Hamilton, and Danny (Sherry) Bolyard; four grandchildren: Benjamin, Brian, James, and Ashley; three greatgrandchildren; a sister, Idabelle Johnson of Clayton; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Annie is preceded in death by six sisters: Ruth, Viola, Olga, Gloria, Evelyn, and Mary; and four brothers: John Jr, Fred, Earl, and Richard. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the J Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 North Adrian Highway, Adrian MI.
