Anna F. Vallie, age 91, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at home. She was born January 12, 1930 in Holloway, MI. to George and Anna Henry. She was a 1947 graduate of Blissfield High School. Ann was also a member of St. Elizabeth Parish in Tecumseh and American Legion Auxiliary in Britton. As a lifelong homemaker, family time was both her life’s work and favorite pastime. She not only raised her own children but was a dedicated babysitter to all of her many grandchildren and great grandchildren (that’s a lot of snack making!). She loved outings and family get-togethers of all types, and had an amazing ability to truly take joy in the simple things. Always the optimist, she would be quick to remind you that a prayer, good night’s rest and a new day could solve nearly any problem. For this remarkable attitude towards life, she was a bright influence on all of those lucky enough to have known and loved her. She is survived by son Mark (Carol) Vallie of Tavares, Florida, daughter Cheryl Gleason of Clinton, MI, daughter Sue (Aaron) Hubbard of Manchester, MI, son Brian (Heidi) Vallie of Adrian, MI. and grandchildren Jenny, Don Vallie, Janice (Devon) Cook, Cody, Kyle ( Courtney), Luke Gleason, Amber (Ray) Moses, Joe Hubbard, Abigail and Josiah Vallie, and great grandchildren Jordan, Harley, Caleb, Ava, Cash, Mason, Ayden and Liam. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard, brothers George and James (Melvin) Henry and son-in-law Tom Gleason. Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm Monday June 28, at Purse Funeral Home in Tecumseh. Visitation will precede the service from 10:30 - 12:00 pm. Burial will follow in Ridgeway Cemetery in Britton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to be used according to their wishes
