Andrew D. Cole

Andrew D. Cole, age 55, of Dexter, MI, passed away, April 8, 2025, at home. He was born July 16, 1969, in Tecumseh, MI, the son of Wendell & Barbara (Parnell) Cole. On August 21, 2021, he married Tonya Cole in Carver, KY, she survives.  Andrew was a graduate of Tecumseh High School, Class of 1987. He was currently employed with Build and Rebuild in Ypsilanti, MI. Andrew loved to hunt and fish and spend time with his friends. He also was an avid collector of antiques and old tools.  In addition to his wife Tonya, he is survived by his mother, Barbara Cole of Hudson; his son, Clayton (Mikayla) Cole of Britton; his daughter, Madelyn Cole of Petersburg; three step-daughters, Emily Harwood of East Lansing, Erica Harwood of Ann Arbor and Jennifer Swain of Chelsea; one step-son, Daniel Swain of Ardmore, OK; one expected granddaughter in April; three step-grandchildren, Axel, Morgan and Delilah; his siblings, Kathy Havens of Hudson, Maureen Huss of Ft. Myers Beach, FL, Robin (Mark Little) Flanders of Brooklyn, Wendell "Herm" Cole of Lansing, Robert (Deb) Cole of Napoleon, Pamela Cole of Tallahassee, FL, Rod (Jane) Cole of Cairo, GA, Kenneth (JoAnn) Cole of Tallahassee, FL and Rick Cole of Tallahassee, FL; sister in law, Cathy Flanders; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his father, Wendell Cole; brother, Steven Flanders, sister Jo Anne Figoli; and nephew, Justice Cole; and brother in law, Steve Huss.  Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Thursday April 17, 2025, at Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N.
