Vreeland Larry Sigman

Vreeland Larry Sigman, 82, passed away October 23, 2019.  He was born in Hillsdale, Michigan, to Vreeland and Ethel Sigman.  Larry was married to Linda Gier on January 4, 1964.  She survives.  Larry graduated from Jonesville High School, class of 1955.  He also attended Hillsdale College and Jackson College. Larry was a Die Maker at Allied Products, drove bus for Key Opportunities, and hauled custom made trucks all over the United States. Larry was fond of people and he enjoyed owning and operating Sigmans’ Food and Spirits with his wife, Linda.  Larry was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, American Legion, Elks and Moose Lodge.  Surviving are two children, Michael Jason Sigman and Sarah (J.R.) Greeley of Hanover. Two grandchildren, Jedidiah Greeley and Joanna Greeley, one brother, James (Phyllis) Sigman of North Adams, and one sister, Gayle (Stephen) Stewart of Ann Arbor.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Jonesville District Library or Elara Caring (formerly Great Lakes) Hospice.
