Valentine Gutierrez

Valentine Gutierrez, 62, of Adrian, MI, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at his home under the loving care of his fiance, Vicky Nieto, and assisted by Hospice of Lenawee.  He was born in Adrian on September 11, 1956 to Juanita and Valentin Gutierrez. He is survived by his mother Juanita; his fiance, Vicky Nieto, his daughters Melissa (John) Dempsey, April (Evan) Gutierrez, and Valerie (Doug) Gray; his siblings: Armando (Cindy) Gutierrez, Rachel (Lupe) Torres, Beatrice (Mike) Prock, Minerva Warner, Cindy Gutierrez, Mary Molly (Chuck) Baker, Vera Lake, Joann (John) Cox, Jesse (Tara) Gutierrez, and Jeremy (Erica) Gutierrez, his six grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  He is proceeded in death by his siblings: Alfredo, Arturo, David Bebo, Jimmy and Mary Jane Gutierrez, and his father Valentin Gutierrez.  Visitation for Valentine will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2019, from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM with an evening vigil service presided by Pastor Charles Stewart & Pastor Lynn Jackson at 7:00 PM at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI.  Funeral Services will be held on 11:00 AM Friday, August 2, 2019 at at J. Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI, with Rev. April Gutierrez officiating.  Burial will  immediately follow at Lenawee Hills Memorial Park, Adrian, MI with Military Honors performed by the Adrian VFW Post 1584 Honor Guard.
