Sue M. Thomas

Sue  M.  Thomas, age 86, of Adrian, MI, passed away, October 12, 2019, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 6, 1933, in Franklin Co., Alabama, the daughter of Ocie & Myrtle (Ables) Nichols. On February 16, 1952, she married Harold K. Thomas. He preceded her in death in 1995.  Sue worked for Stubnitz & Greene in Adrian, MI.  In addition to her husband, Harold Thomas, she was preceded in death by her parents, Ocie & Myrtle Nichols, two sisters, Clara and Shirley, a brother in infancy, Jonathan and great granddaughter, Madison.  Sue is survived by her children; Linda (Jack) Neller, Sandra Thomas, David (Peggy) Thomas and Laurie (Ray) Lewis, eleven grandchildren and several bonus grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.  Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 PM Tuesday, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI with Pastor Eric Love officiating.
