Steven Bruce Eberhard

Steven Bruce Eberhard, age 72, of Jackson, MI, passed away, October 18, 2019, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born October 28, 1946, in Battle Creek, MI, the son of Franklin & Iva (VanAlstine) Eberhard.  Steve was a graduate of Climax Scotts High School, Class of 1965.  He then served his country for two years in the Seabees,  Department of United States Navy.  Steven retired from Federal Express after over 20 years, serving as their Regional Contract Advisor at Detroit Metro Airport.    He was a member of Freeway Church in Albion, MI.  Steve belonged to the Moose Club in South Haven, MI.   He was an avid boater and member of the Black River Yacht Club in South Haven, MI, where he and his wife Carol spent many summers.  Steve loved playing euchre with friends any chance he could get even up to two weeks ago.  Steve is survived by his wife of 46 years; Carol Eberhard, his children; Larry (Debbie) Eberhard, Troy (Susan) Eberhard, Randy (Patti) Eberhard and Stacie Eberhard, special godson, Larry Saxman, grandchildren; Charles "Chuck", Katie, Patrick, Ashley, Riley, Aislynn and Amara, great granddaughter; Charleigh, and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; Franklin & Iva Eberhard and brother; Larry Eberhard. Memorial Services will be held 5:00 PM October 23, 2019, at the Freeway Church, 28900 B-Drive N, Albion, MI 49224.  A dinner will follow the memorial service.  Visitation will also be on Wednesday from 4:00 PM until the time of service at the Freeway Church.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Freeway Church, 28900 B-Drive N, Albion, MI 49224 Albion, MI or Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice, 100 E Michigan Ave Ste 400, Jackson, MI 49201
