Shirley Ann Chrisman

Shirley Ann Chrisman, age 72, of Tecumseh, passed away peacefully October 10, 2019 at home, with her family by her side. She was born March 22, 1947 in Providence, RI the daughter of Norman and Jean (Hubbard) Kemp. On April 17, 1965, she married Larry D. Chrisman at Raisin Center Friends Church, Raisin Township, MI. He survives. Shirley was employed for many years with Kapnick Orchards. She enjoyed riding her own motorcycle, hunting deer, and reading books. Shirley also loved cats and took care of a variety animals. Shirley was an accomplished archer winning several trophies. In addition to her husband Larry; Shirley is survived by two sons, Larry (Brenda) Chrisman, Don (Karen) Chrisman; 6 grandchildren, Nicole (Trevor) Pearson; Michaela (Nick) Campbell, Zach Chrisman, Emily Chrisman, Cameron Chrisman, and Connor Chrisman; and brother, Mark Kemp. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home with Debi Humpreys officiating. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. & 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
