Roger White

Roger White, 67, of Britton, passed away at home on Wednesday, August 29th, 2018.  Visitation will be held Friday, September 7, 2018  from 12:00 - 2:00 pm at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm.  Roger was born in Pulaski, VA on July 3rd, 1951 to Otis and Ruby (Duncan) White. He graduated from Onsted High School. He married Kathryn (Prater) White in February 1973. Roger was a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served in the Army. He was a long-time employee of L & I Leasing in Britton and finished his career at AvFuel in Ann Arbor. He was very involved in the AA community until his illness.  Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Ruby White. He is survived by his wife, Kathy White; daughter, Amanda (White) Farah; son, Travis White; grandson, Joshua DesMarais and sisters, Linda Goll, Brenda Evers and Cindy Shippy.  Memorial donations can be given to Hospice of Lenawee.  Condolences to the family may be made online at www.pursefuneralhome.com.
