Robin Lee Gainey

Robin Lee Gainey, age 70, of Tecumseh, passed away September 30, 2019 at home surrounded by her family. She was born September 29, 1949 in Adrian, the daughter of Robert and Marian (Gobba) Travis. Robin married Tommy Gainey in October 1989 and he preceded her in death in 2014. Robin was a longtime bartender at Wrong Way Pub and Fraternal Order of Eagles Club, both in Tecumseh. Robin is survived by her children, Kim Burnham, Bob Nickelson, and Adam Nickelson and 2 grandsons, Damian Nickelson and Dominik Nickelson. She was preceded in death by her husband Tommy; parents; granddaughter, Micheala Eleen Nickelson and sister, Mary Lou Travis. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 4, 2019 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh, with Rev. Eric Hickman officiating.  Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh. Visitation will also take place on Friday, October 4, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until time funeral service at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
