Rafael "Chick-a-Boo" Burciaga

Rafael "Chick-a-Boo" Burciaga, age 56, of Adrian, MI, passed away, August 8, 2019, at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor, MI. He was born April 7, 1963, in Adrian, MI, the son of Jose & Julia (Lopez) Burciaga.  Rafael loved to go fishing, collect baseball cards and shoot pool. He worked at Nagel Precisions in Ann Arbor, MI.  Rafael is survived by his children, Anthony (Raquel) Amador, Monica Burciaga (Rogelio Varo), Christina Burciaga (Justin James), Rafael Burciaga, Jr. and Alfredo Burciaga, Martel Griswold, Zaria James, Zyana James, Zadonis James, his sister, Cindi (Randy "Dee") Lenart, his brother, Larry (Sonnie) Burciaga, nieces & nephews, Emma Salazar (Mario Cabrera), Jessie Salazar (Maria Orozco), Jessica Peiffer, Ray Jones, Tony (Becky) Baggett and Ashley (Matt) Pawson.  He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Conception Burciaga and Juanita Salazar and grandson, Ayden Amador.  Visitation will be on Sunday, August 11, 2019, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, August 12, 2019, at J.
