Phyllis Jean Hargrave

Phyllis Jean Hargrave, age 83, of Tecumseh, passed away in Cordova, Tennessee at the home of her daughter March 3, 2018.  Phyllis was born October 23, 1934 in Adrian, Michigan the daughter of Harvey and Lillie (Jenkins) Hamden.  On June 11, 1955 she married James "Jim" Hargrave in Adrian, MI and he preceded her in death May 22, 2012.  Phyllis is survived by her children, Judy Rigney, Diane (Eddie) Colvin and James (Kelley) Hargrave; Grandchildren, Tony Dierkens, Chris Charland, LeAnne Charland, Sara Charland, Cassandra Rigney, Jennifer Hargrave and Justin Hargrave;  great grandchildren,,Olivia, Rory, Oliver, Drew and Adrianna.and sister in law, Marge Hamden.  In addition to her husband, James, she was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Evelyn (Burton) Freet, Robert (June) Hamden, Harley Hamden, Alvin Eugene (Gertrude) Hamden and Myrna (Charles) Etter. Funeral services will be 1:00 P. M. Saturday, March 10, 2018 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Rev. Paul Herter officiating.  Burial will follow in Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh.  Visitation will be 5 - 8:00 P.M.
