Nina Hammond Obituary

Nina Grace Hammond, age 72, of Clinton, peacefully passed away in her home November 28, 2018. She was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan to Samuel and Ruth (Dieter) Hammond on October 20, 1946. Nina graduated from Lincoln High School and started her family in 1967. She enjoyed camping and road trips. The best were to see her sons and their families in Minnesota and Oregon. She achieved nursing and hospital business administration degrees from Oakland Community College and Baker College with nursing career positions in Traverse City, Saline and Tecumseh and retiring from the University of Michigan in 2011. Nina will be missed by her sons, George (Elaine) Drew and Tony (Sarah) Drew; her grandson and caregiver, Conor Drew; grandchildren, Grant, Ollie and Parker Drew; sisters, Ruth Ann (Bill) Czinski and Susan Hammond and other loving family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents. Cremation has taken place. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Michigan Humane Society and Arbor Hospice.
