Nancy Carol Porterfield

Nancy Carol Porterfield, age 80, of Clinton, passed away March 27, 2018.  Nancy was born September 10, 1937 in Ypsilanti, MI the daughter of Alex and Dorothy (Pepper) Hedlesky.  On June 26, 1955 she married Bud Porterfield in Ypsilanti, MI.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  Nancy enjoyed following and supporting her children and grandchildren's activities.  Other past times included garage sales, family trips up north and love for her many pets.  Nancy is survived by her children,  Kim (Alicia Seegert) Sines, Randy (Jana) Porterfield, Brian Porterfield, Dale (Julie) Porterfield and David Porterfield; grandchildren, Brad, Danielle, Kelsey, Kristen, Forrest, Megan, and Zach; great grandchildren, Zoe and Emma; sister, Kathryn White and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud, February 17, 2009.  According to her wishes, there will be no services.  Private burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Clinton.  Anyone wishing to remember her, may make donations to the Lenawee County Humane Society.  Condolences to the family may be made online at www.pursefuneralhome.com.
