Morris Henry "Moe" Houttekier

Morris "Moe" Henry Houttekier, age 75, of Tecumseh, passed away April 14, 2018, at home, in the loving arms of Bonnie, his companion of 25 years.  He was born September 25, 1944 in Adrian, MI, the son of George and Shirley (Bailey) Houttekier.  Moe was veteran of the United States Army.   Moe is survived by his 3 sons, George Houttekier, Jeffrey Houtteikier, and Bryan Houttekier; 5 grandchildren; a great granddaughter; sister, Hilda (Gerald) Kool, and close friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Dwight, and Paul.  Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday April 20, 2018 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh, with Rev. Eric Hickman officiating.  Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery with military honors conducted by the United States Army Funeral Honors Team.  Visitation will also be on Friday be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.  Condolences may be made online at: www.pursefuneralhome.com
