Michael William "Mike" Gorton

Michael William "Mike" Gorton, age 58, of Britton, passed away unexpectedly September 22, 2019. Mike was born September 3, 1961 in Tecumseh, Michigan the son of William and Geraldine (Beck) Gorton.  He was a graduate of Britton High School, class of 1979.  He then attended Lincoln Technological Institute  in Indianapolis, Indiana studying auto and truck mechanics. Mike is survived by his parents, Bill and Gerry Gorton of Britton; brother, Don Gorton of Britton; niece, Melissa McCabe of Clinton; nephew, Charlie Gorton of Britton; grand nieces, Jayden  and Scarlett and grand nephew, Elden. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M.  Friday, September 27, 2019 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Rev. Ruth VanDersande  officiating.  Burial will follow in Macon Cemetery, Macon, MI.  Visitation will be 12:00 P. M (Noon) to 2:00 P. M. preceding the service.
