Maryanna Pratt White

Maryanna Pratt White, age 83, of Manchester, passed away November 17, 2017.  Maryanna was born June 2, 1934 in Plainwell, MI the daughter of Elkins and Rose (Kailing) Pratt.  On October 7, 2011 she married Joanna Rebecca-Ann White in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  She was a graduate of Nazareth College, Nazareth, MI and University of Detroit where she received her Masters Degree in mathematics.  Her ministry took her in the roles of teaching, a chaplain at St. Joseph  Hospital in Flint and a hospice chaplain in her later years.  She was also active in Pax Christi, Dignity USA and Call to Action.  She was a peace loving individual.  In addition to her husband, Joanna, she is survived by her sisters, Alice (Pete) Herber, Gracie Martinez and Dr. Paula Pratt.  She was preceded in death by her parents.  Memorial services will be 1:00 P. M. Monday, August 13, 2018 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Joanna Rebecca Ann White officiating.  Visitation will also be Monday at 12:00 P. M.
