Mary Rodriguez

Mary Rodriguez, age 84, of Toldeo, OH, passed away, April 10, 2018, at Kingston Care Center in Sylvania, OH. She was born February 8, 1935, in Cotulla, TX, the daughter of Jose & Manuelita (Salazar) Garcia. On May 15, 1954, she married Bernadino Rodriguez at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Adrian, MI. He preceded her in death on December 17, 1990.  Mary drove bus for Madison Schools for many years. She also worked at the Community Action Agency in Adrian, MI.  Mary is survived by her children, Janie Rodriguez, Bernie Rodriguez, Jr., Roy Rodriguez and Cynthia (Albert) Rosas, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one brother, Joe Garcia and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband Bernie, she was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Fred Garcia and sister, Ramona Saenz.  Funeral Services will be held 1:30 PM Friday. April 20, 2018, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI with Pastor Willie Miller & Pastor Albert Rosas officiating. Burial will follow in Lenawee Hills Memorial Park, Adrian, MI. Visitation will be on Thursday April 19, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and also on Friday from 12:00 PM until the time of service at the J.
