Lora Jean Jones

Lora Jean Jones, 59, of Hudson, MI passed away in her sleep on October 6th, 2019.  Lora was born on April 28th, 1960 at Herrick Hospital in Tecumseh MI. She graduated from Addison High School in 1978. Lora married Charles Jones on July 14, 1999 in Hillsdale, MI, they spent many wonderful years together. Lora loved her many adventures she took with friends. Lora enjoyed collecting button hooks and the thrill of looking for new ones.  Lora is survived by her mother Gloria Osburn and brother Keith (Kelley) Osburn  both of Manitou Beach. Lora is also survived by her two children Josh Houghton and Heather Houghton of Hudson MI. Lora has 6 grandchildren who she adored, Kelly, Katie, Lane, Joe, Bella and Hunter.  Lora was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Osburn of Manitou Beach MI and husband Charles Jones of Hudson MI.  Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, October 11, 2019, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Pastor Ken Nichols officiating.  Burial will follow in Green's Lakeside Cemetery, Devil's Lake, MI.  Visitation will also be on Friday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the J.
