Lennie Duane Scott

Lennie Duane Scott, age 64, of Adrian, MI, passed away, February 20, 2018, at home under the loving care of his wife and ProMedica Hospice. He was born November 16, 1953, in Toledo, OH, the son of Duane & Conniedale (Mullins) Scott. On September 22, 1984, he married Emma (Beyer) Scott, she survives.  Lennie worked as a security guard for numerous years at K & K Security, A.D.A. Security and also at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home. He also served and was a member of the Lenawee Emergency Volunteers for over 25 years. Lennie was also member of the Professional Bullriders Association. He especially enjoyed being Santa Claus for the City of Tecumseh and spending time in their Santa House for several years during the holidays.  In addition to his wife Emma, he is survived by his mother, Connie Lambert, his stepchildren, Floyd Whitehead, Tami Vayko, Cheryl (Kevin) Lembrick, Dale Whitehead, Randy (Mahea) Whitehead, Terry Whitehead and Connie (Nick) Tedder, his brother, Mike Scott, five sisters, Carolyn Johnson, Denise (Mark) Severance, Harriett Stein, Terrie Strouse and Paula (Ron) Charter, along with numerous nieces, nephews and step grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his father.  Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, February 24, 2018, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Rev. Bruce Jewett officiating.  Visitation will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI.
