Kathy M. (Clark) Christensen

Kathy M. Christensen, age 75, of Tecumseh, passed away July 11. 2019 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor.  On December 7, 1943, she was born in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Alexander and Helen (Welshons) Clark. On October 26, 1996, she married Charles A. Christensen and he survives.Kathy was a member of Covenant Church, Tecumseh. In addition to her husband Charles, she is survived by her children, Pam (Gordon) Brighton, Steven (Vanessa) Bechler, Matthew Christensen, Caitlynn Christensen, Charles (Trish) Christensen, and Marcy (Bob) Miller; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and brother Thomas (Diana) Clark. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday July 18, 2019 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Rev. Richard Mortimer officiating. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh. Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday July 17, 2019 and from 10:00 a.m. until time of services Thursday at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh. Memorial contributions may be directed to Lenawee  Humane Society.
