Julia Ann Moore

Julia Ann Moore, age 82, passed away on August 23, 2019 at home, under the care of Hospice of Lenawee. She was born to Ellsworth and Julia (Ellis) Jones on January 15, 1937 in Somerset, Michigan, and they preceded her in death.  She is survived by her children; Ralph Moore, Larry Moore, Claude Moore, Elizabeth Flores, all of Adrian; Rachel Moore, Tecumseh;  Edna Banks, Stryker, Ohio; and Jeff Allen, Brandon, Florida.  She was preceded in death by one son, Ed Allen.  In addition to her children, she is survived by seventeen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. Julia was devoted to her church and also enjoyed baking and cooking big meals.  Visitation for Julia will take place at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. on Saturday, August 31, 2019 from 1:00 pm until the beginning of the funeral service at 2:00 pm.  Burial at Lenawee Hills Memorial Garden in Tecumseh will follow the service.
