Judy A. Jordan

Judy A. Jordan, age 69, of Hillsdale, MI, passed away May 30, 2017, Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI.  She was born August 20, 1947, in Battle Creek, MI, the daughter of Emerson "Doc" & Evelyn Mae (Carnell) Blanchard.  Judy owned & operated her own daycare for many years. She liked playing bingo and spending time with her family.  She is survived by her children, James Rutherford of Kentucky, Tina (Ken Hughes) Summers of Kentucky and Thomas (Teresa) Rutherford of Hillsdale, MI, two stepchildren, John D. Jordan of Niles, MI and Melinda Corroto of Niles, MI, twelve grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, two brothers, Gary Blanchard and Dale Blanchard, three sisters, Jackie Boyle, Sandy (Ken) Teremi and Bernadine Green and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clyde "Poppy" Jordan, two brothers, Larry & William Blanchard and two grandsons, Eugene Russell "Rusty" Springborn and John Emerson Springborn.  Funeral Services will be held 4:00 PM Friday, June 2, 2017, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Visitation will also be on Friday from 12:00 PM until the time of service at J.
