Joyce Ann (Prichard) Schroeder

Joyce Ann Schroeder, age 93, of Adrian, MI passed away on January 15,  2020 at Lenawee Medical Care Facility.  She was born January 2, 1927 in Tecumseh to Donald and Marguerite Prichard.  On August 31, 1947 she married Harold John Schroeder at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Britton, MI. Joyce graduated from Bixby Hospital as a Practical Nurse, in July, 1943.  She was a member of St. Stephen’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Adrian. She was preceded in death by her husband (Harold), her parents (Donald and Marguerite Prichard) and siblings (Charles Prichard, Frank Prichard, Mary Jane Prichard, Doris Wimple, and Rhoba Mack).  Joyce is survived by her daughter, Evelyn Durham (5 children, 7 grandchildren) and her son Howard Schroeder (Dianne) and grandchildren - John Schroeder (Kai-lyn) and Kellie Campbell (Michael) and great grandchildren - JT Schroeder,  Carson Schroeder, Megan Campbell, Emma Schroeder and Will Campbell.  Joyce is also survived by her sister-in law Ruth Prichard, brother-in-law Larry Wimple and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will take place at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 23, 2020, at Lake Ridge Cemetery, 9650 Ridge Hwy., Britton, MI.
