Joseph L. Sprow

Joseph L. Sprow, age 68, of Adrian, MI, passed away, April 17, 2018.  He was born January 15, 1950, in Adrian, MI, the son of LeRoy & Ruth (Green) Sprow.  On April 7, 1990, he married Corinthia "Corky" K. Snead. She survives him. Joe proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1969 to 1977 with an honorable discharge.  He was employed by Adrian Public Schools until he retired. He was an Eagle Scout, enjoyed bowling, having a 299 game, building wheelchair ramps with Helping Hands of Lenawee and burger burns.  He is survived by his wife, Corky, his son Jeremiah Snead, his sisters Susie (Ron) Wells and Sandy Clute. In addition, nieces, nephews, sister-in-law, Deborah, and brother-in-law, Rod, cousins, Bill, Barb and Gale, their children, and his best buddy, Bear.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Carol.  Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI with Ted Southerland officiating.  Military Honors will be performed by the U.S. Navy Honor Guard. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Helping Hands of Lenawee. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. www.PurseFuneralHome.com
