Jessica Madeline Mallow, age 75, of Tecumseh, passed away December 10, 2019. She was born July 16, 1944 in Detroit, the daughter of Delbert and Lillian Ruth (Roberts) Walters. On July 27, 1987, she married Robert E. Mallow and he survives. Jessica was a graduate of Schoolcraft College, Registered Nurse Program. She started her nursing career in 1976, which spanned 30 plus years, which included hospitals, home healthcare, Jackson Prison, and Blue Cross Blue Shield in Detroit. Jessica was a member of Tipton Community Church, where she was the caretaker of the sanctuary flower program. As part of her hospitalization, Jessica was also able to become a member of the pilot program to help further medical research at U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor. In addition to her husband Robert, Jessica is survived by her children, Kevin (Margaret) Strang, Laurie (Mike) Mayer, Julie Anne Strang; grandchildren, Jessica (Tom) Stoner, Michael Mayer, Brittany Strang, Heather Mayer, Marissa Strang, and Tyler Pitek; 4 great grandchildren, Ava Stoner, Ella Stoner, Jacob Stoner, and Caleb Fischer; niece, Mica Walters-Bolinger and nephew, James (Kim) Walters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Walters. Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Tipton Community Church with Rev. Eric Hickman officiating. Private interment will follow at Parkview Memorial Cemetery, Livonia.
