Jesse Williams

Jesse Williams, age  41, of Adrian, MI, passed away, August 25, 2018 He was born February 17, 1977, in Jackson, MI, the son of Greg Williams & Linda (Vallad) Schneider.  Jesse attended Adrian High School and was a naturally gifted baseball player. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps where he received an expert rifle medal for marksmanship. During his time in the Marine Corps his fellow Marines looked up to Jesse for guidance and encouragement. He had a passion for music and loved playing the guitar. Jesse loved anything Elvis. He was known for his sense of humor and quick wit. Jesse never met a stranger. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, father, nephew, cousin and friend. He will be dearly missed.  He is survived by his parents Linda & Robert Schneider, his children, Angeline and Logan, two grandchildren, five sisters, Heidi (Joel) Baker, Barb (Clay) Adkins, Cindy (Frank) Wingfield, Melanie (Bryan) Wilson and Nicole (Michael) Allison, nieces & nephews, Chelsey, Chloe, Ryleigh, Alyssa, Dianna, Anthony, Gabby, Legion, Oliver, Maya, Anthony, Lindsey, Jacob, Alexis, Morgan, Bryan, Emily, Maximus and Wyatt, his grandmother, Georgia Vallad and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Oren Vallad, his aunt, Carol Swilley and uncle, Gary Vallad.  Visitation will be on Friday August 31, 2018, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 PM with Military Honors performed by the U.S. Marines Corps Honor Guard.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to the family for funeral expenses.  www.PurseFuneralHome.com
