Jerry "Porkchop" Braden Lewis, Sr.

Jerry Braden Lewis, Sr. age 47, of Onsted, MI, passed away suddenly with his wife Vicky and son Jerry Jr. by his side, on July 16, 2018.  

Jerry loved his family & friends and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and cooking.  He built his smoker with good friend Jeff.  "Porkchop" was known for his pig roasting and cooking on the smoker.  He was a member of Sand Lake Fire Dept.  While in high school, he worked on Rich-Shur Farms and Tecumseh Products.  He was always there and loved to help others.   

He is survived by his wife, Victoria Lewis, his son Jerry Braden Lewis, Jr., his brother, Tony (Natalie) Lewis, his mother, Berthajean Lewis and five grandchildren, Jakeb, Kimber, Gage, Kiari and Tristen.  He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Lewis.  In honor if Jerry's wishes, A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 PM August 11, 2018, at Linda & Dwayne Tillo's residence, 15950 Sheridan Rd, Clinton, MI 49236. Bagpipes will be played at 1:30 PM.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
