Janice E. Mehan

Janice E. Mehan, age 78, of Adrian, MI, passed away, July 29, 2019, at home with her family. She was born July 12, 1941, in Dearborn, MI. Janice married Norman Mehan on October 7, 1978, he preceded her in death in 2005.  Janice owned and operated her own beauty shop. She retired from County Market where she worked for many years.  She is survived by her children, Joseph (Gwen) Kelley and Susan Sexton, her grandchildren, Melinda Wilson, Joshua Kelley and Christopher Sexton, twelve great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, one brother, James (Charlene) Angell and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband Norman, she was preceded in death by one son, James Kelley, granddaughter, Leslie Waingrow, one brother, Michael McCarty and one sister, Carol Rowley.  Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Friday, August 2, 2019, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Burial will follow in East Rome Cemetery, Adrian, MI. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 1, 2019, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J.
