I have very fond memories of Jake and Tarya when I saw them. It was a romantic magical thing.
Although they parted that is how I always remembered Jake.

Karen and Tom,
Our family is so sad regarding Jake's passing. We had the privilege of knowing Jake during his last two years of high school and into his first semester at college. We truly considered him a part of our family. He spent many hours with us and we have wonderful memories of him. Gregg and I were lucky enough to see him again last year and he even played music with Gregg at Adrian's First Fridays. He was such a kind soul. The world was a better place with him in it. God Bless you and your family and know that we are thinking of you.

Jake was our son Jacob's 1st guitar teacher. He was a kind, patient and encouraging. His 30 minute lessons would frequently spill over to an hour or more, as Jake and Jacob would be lost in their playing. We are so thankful for the time our son got to spend with and learn from Jake, and are so sad that he is gone. We will never forget him, and send our prayers and love to his family.

I am so sorry to hear about Jake's passing. I was very stunned when I heard the news. I have a lot of good memories of hanging out with Jake, along with his brothers Austin and Max at their house and playing the Dragon Ball Z video game on the PlayStation. Jake always struck me as a very intelligent and caring man and he was doing some truly amazing things. Please let me know how I can contribute to his scholarship fund so I can properly honor his memory...

Jacob was my daughter's guitar instructor, he was wonderfully guy with a gentle and caring personality. So sorry about him going to soon.
