Genevieve “Jenny” Elizabeth Nash

Age 54, of Adrian, passed away August 8, 2019, in Adrian MI, surrounded by family.  Jenny was the daughter of Patricia (Pat) Vasseur and Granddaughter of Genevieve Nash who both preceded her in death.  Jenny was born and raised in Southwest Detroit, but moved to the Adrian area in November 2005. She is survived by her two children - Theresa “Teri” (Mike) and Daniel “Danny” (Stephanie), three grandchildren - Savanna, Kairi and Tristan,  four siblings - Theresa “Terri” Byrnes, Hank (Valerie) Kasmer, Maria Mynes, and Christine “Chris” Cochran, five nieces and nephews - Kristin (Kyle) Seegert, Justin (Tonya) Nash, Nikki (Shaun) Collins, Brandon Mynes and Mikayla Cochran, six great nieces and nephews - Bryan, Nathan, Kinzlie, Brynna, Kaylee and Jayce and several cousins.  In addition to her mother and grandmother, she had two brother-in-laws - Dr. Paul Byrnes and Leon Mynes, two uncles - Dana and Roy Nash, and two cousins - Pamela “Pam” and Roy David Nash, precede her in death.   Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 PM at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, on August 12, 2019.  Funeral Services will begin at 3:00 PM at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Lenawee Hills Memorial Park, Adrian, MI.  Condolences may be offered to the family at: www.pursefuneralhome.com.
