Frances Louise Christensen

Frances Louise Christensen, age 89, of Tecumseh, MI, formerly of Charlotte, MI, went to be with her Lord, July 20, 2018 with her son and daughter in law by her side.  Fran was born September 19, 1928 in Perry, Michigan the daughter of Frank and Catherine (North) Wilkinson.  She married Charles Christensen in 1946 and he preceded her in death in 2012.  Fran is survived by her children, Anne, William and Charles; brother, Gary; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.  After raising her three children Fran went to work for Eaton County Health caring for the elderly.  She was a huge Detroit Tigers fan and wasn't afraid to express her displeasure when the manager or a player messed up.  But her pride and joy were her grandchildren.  Nothing put a bigger smile on her face than her grandchildren.  Funeral services will be 1:30 P. M. Thursday July 26, 2018 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Pastor Richard Mortimer officiating.  Private burial will take place at Maple Hill Cemetery, Charlotte.  Visitation will be 2:00 - 6:00 P. M.
