Evelyn L. Thomas

Evelyn L. Thomas, age 90, of Adrian, MI, passed away, February 12, 2019.  She was born May 18, 1928, in London, KY, the daughter of Milton & Cora (Owens) Lawson.  On September 18, 1947, she married Jerry Thomas in Hamilton, OH. He preceded her in death on November 28, 1970.  Evelyn is survived by her children, Julia Bishop and John Thomas, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, two sisters, one brother and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister in law.  Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, February 18, 2019, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Visitation will also be on Monday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
