Donald Edward Matejcek, Jr.

Donald Edward Matejcek, Jr. age 58, of Deerfield, MI, passed away, March 13, 2018, at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, OH. He was born July 19, 1959, in Flint, MI, the son of Donald Sr. & Barbara (Wells) Matejcek.  Donnie served his county in U.S. Army. He was a lifetime member of Deerfield American Legion Post 392 and the Petersburg VFW Post 6509.  Donnie is survived by his wife, Patty Matejcek, two sons, Tom Matejeck and Donny Matejcek, one grandson, Braden, one sister, Dawn (Dave) Collar and David (Sunny) Matejcek, sister in law, Karen Matejcek, and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Sr. & Barbara Matejcek and brother, Dennis Matejcek.  Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, March 19, 2018, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Burial will follow in Deerfield Cemetery with Military Honors performed by the Deerfield American Legion Honor Guard.
