Diana S. Reynolds, passed to Our Lord, Jesus Christ unexpectedly on July 23, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Ypsilanti on her 69th birthday. Diana courageously fought battles with her health over the last 18 years. She valiantly pursued her daily life nurturing her family. She was a devoted wife and mother to her 2 children and grandmother to her 6 grandchildren. Her family gave her the greatest pleasure and she enjoyed nothing more than spending time with them. Diana spent her life growing up and living in the Adrian/Addison, Michigan area. Since retiring, her and husband David have been traveling and spending their winters in Rockport, Texas and the spring and summer months in Adrian. Diana was born to Brooker and Virginia (Cowell) Renfer on July 23, 1949. She spent her early years in Addison and on August 17, 1974, she married David J Reynolds. Besides her greatest pleasure of being a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Diana enjoyed her weekly Saturday morning adventures with her son, George; cooking her famous pancake breakfasts for her grandchildren & great grandchildren, entertaining her friends, traveling, campfires, & attending sporting events for all of the kids. Surviving Diana is her husband of nearly 44 years, David, daughter Tina (John) of Novi, Michigan, & son George Reynolds of Adrian. Her grandchildren, Zachary (Megan) McFarland, Isaac (Ashley) Nowak, Justin Nowak (U.S.M.C.) of Adrian, Derek (Lindsay), Katelynn (Layton), and Austin (Lacey) Reynolds of Columbia, TN. She is also survived by several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, father-in-law George J. Reynolds (whom she had a very special bond) and brothers Jerry and Douglas Renfer. Visiting hours will be on Monday, July 30, 2018, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home in Adrian followed immediately by a memorial at 7:00 PM where friends and family are welcome to join the immediate family to pay tribute to Diana’s life.
