Denise R. Zonca

Denise R. Zonca, age 66, Onsted, MI, passed away, June 9, 2018, at home under the care of Hospice of Lenawee, after a six month battle with cancer. She was born March 6, 1952, in Trenton, MI, the daughter of Miner & Anna (Hayes) Newell. On November 11, 1978, she married Richard Zonca, he survives.  Other than homemaking, Denise had many hobbies including, stained glass, tropical fish, interior design & decorating, video games and loved raising her many dogs throughout the years.  In addition to her husband Richard, she is survived by her two sons, Shawn (Barbara) Zonca and Eric Zonca, two grandsons, Thomas Zonca and Miner Zonca, one sister, Marlene (Bill) Schultz and two nieces, Lori and Jamie Schultz.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Miner & Anna Newell.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM & 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the J.
