Daryell Axel Olson

Daryell Axel Olson born May 22, 1960 of Clinton, MI passed away at 59 years old, on July 24, 2019. He peacefully passed in his home and was surrounded by his family. Daryell was born to an Elwyn Olson and Gail Cain in ??,  Michigan. Daryell grew up in Belleville, Michigan and attended school there. Daryell married the love of his life, Lori Briley, on August 14, 2002, having been together for 12 years. The couple spent most of their 30 years in Belleville,MI in the Quirk subdivision. Daryell and Lori recently bought their dream home together in Clinton, MI, Summer 2017. Daryell worked a majority of his adult life as a salesman in Ypsilanti, Michigan at 3D Pawn Shop. At one time he owned his own pawn shop in Detroit, MI, before retiring to help further his son baseball career. Daryell took joy in fishing, sports, and doing home renovations. Most of his renovations were with his beloved father-in-law Ted Briley (deceased 12/21/17). He loved to travel with his family, play with his dogs, and he was a ride Warrior at Cedar Point. Daryell was known by most as a daredevil, he had a love for driving four-wheelers, and go-karts, getting them to go faster than they should go. He did all this with a smile on his face. Daryell was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend. Daryell is survived by his wife Lori, children Felisha, Jessica, Lindsey, and Luc, his mother Gail, his sister Bobbie, his eight grandchildren, and many nieces/nephews. He will be sorely missed by everyone that had the pleasure to know him. Overall, Daryell, was the type of man many aspire to be- strong, loving, funny, a great father, and husband. There will be a small gathering for close friends and family for Daryell later this year. Daryell’s presence is already missed by those who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those closest to him forever.
