Connie Macomber Obituary

Connie Sue Macomber, 68, of Manchester passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at home. She was born February 3, 1950 to James & Betty Sloat. She married Carl Macomber on July 11, 1970 and he survives.  Also surviving is her son, Brad (Chrisy) Macomber of Tecumseh, daughter Jodi (Mike) Smiley of Tecumseh, son Bryan (April) Macomber of Grass Lake, eight grandchildren Samantha, Tyler, Danielle, Devin, Alana, Gideon, Hazel, Azalya, one great grandchild Carson, one brother Scott Sloat of Brooklyn, and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded  in death by her father, mother and brother Jim Sloat.  She was a faithful wife, loving mother, and amazing grandmother. Her passion was found in her family that she treasured above all else.  Visitation will be from 10am until 12pm on Wednesday, March 14th at the Manchester United Methodist Church. The funeral service will immediately follow. Pastor Tim Butterfield will be officiating.  Donations can be made to The Kidney Foundation or Hospice of Lenawee.
