Charmaine E. Meyer

Charmaine (Chari) Elaine Meyer, age 61, passed away Monday March 19, 2018 at University of Michigan hospital in Ann Arbor, surrounded by her children. She was born October 26, 1956 the daughter of Gerald and Elizabeth Kidd Griffin. She grew up in Holloway, Michigan and was a graduate of Tecumseh High School. She also attended School Craft College. Chari was employed by GTE-Verizon for over 30 years as a Central Office Technition. She spent many hours on call for the phone co. Getting the call in the middle of the night to go out in the worst weather, looking for the broken connection that was tagged for repair. After her retirement she worked the service desk at Meijer and made many new friends. Chari is survived by her two children, Jessie Meyer of Hudson and Drew Meyer also of Hudson. She also leaves behind three beautiful Granddaughters, Nola, Aubrey and baby Faith. Chari is also survived by her brother Jim Griffin of Hart, Michigan and her sister Linda Liski of Adrian, also many nieces and nephews.  A Viewing will take Saturday, April 7, 2018, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Cremation will follow.  Notes about your favorite memory of Chari would be appreciated.
