Carol Lynn Birnbaum

Carol Lynn Birnbaum, age 74, passed away peacefully December 5, 2019. She was born on July 22, 1945, along with her twin brother, Carl, in Detroit, MI. Carol was the beloved mother of Christopher, Kelley (Nancy), Alison (Josh), and Alisa (Troy) and proud grandmother to Landon, Oliver, Harrison, and Lucas. Predeceased by her devoted husband Doug, brother Carl, and parents Herbert and Margaret (Sundermeyer). Carol is survived by her four children and sister, Janet Mijares, of Austin, TX. Carol’s fun loving and generous spirit was contagious. She was a dear friend, and always up for a card game, a night at the bingo hall, and a good (dirty) joke. Most of all, Carol loved her family and instilled in her children strong values that have served them well. In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to Hospice of Lenawee, for others to receive the kind of compassion, care and dignity that Carol received.
